On Wednesday September 4th 2019, in tandem with our Open Evening, TU Dublin Blanchardstown will host an information evening for parents, guardians and families of incoming first year students.

From experience, we know that the parents and guardians of first-time college goers can struggle with the transition from school to 3rd level education. This special event aims to equip you with all of the information necessary to support a young adult as they commence their 3rd level education journey. The event will involve a welcome on arrival with refreshments plus information sessions and campus tours. It will also be an opportunity to meet with lecturers and support staff and to hear about all the supports that are available to our students. It will also provide a chance to learn all about college life and how to best support a person as they transition into their college years.

Two information sessions will take place on the evening; one at 5.15pm and another at 6.00pm.

What our students say...

Monika Karaliunaite

"Basically the course covers everything to do with digital and online media. I had it as a hobby in sixth year but when I came here I learned so much more."
