ITB to host 2013 Afri Hedge School

We're delighted to host the 2013 Afri Hedge School here in ITB.
Afri (Action from Ireland ) is an Irish based justice, peace and human rights NGO whose patrons include Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu and former UN Assistant Secretary General Denis Halliday.



The Afri Hedge School includes workshops and talks from grassroots activists and previous guests have included former President Mary Robinson.
The theme for this years hedge school is militarisation, conflict and the environment.



Our Social and Community Development students will be working in partnership with Afri to organise this event.



The event takes place on Tues 5th November from 10am to 4.30pm in Room A57, Block A.
