ITB's annual Robotics Summer School ran from 14th - 24th June this year with over 100 students from St Patricks School in Corduff, Scoil Mhuire in Blakestown, St Philips School in Mountview, Ladyswell School in Mulhuddart and Blanchardstown Youth Service taking part. They were exposed to the exciting and challenging world of Information Technology.
The children worked together building robots from Lego, they then programmed the Robots, as well as, playing fun games and sports each day. They had the opportunity to demonstrate their Robots. The Summer School culminated in a "Robot Show" and "Graduation" on the final day where the children were joined by their parents and friends.

The Robotics Summer School's success is a result of the hard work put in by ITB students and the co-operation extended by schools and teachers in particular. The Summer School is one of the many initiatives which ITB undertakes on a regular basis as part of its commitment to promote positive perceptions of the value of, and the enjoyment that can be gained from technology.

Robotics Summer School is part of its Third Level Access Initiative.
ITB's Access Officer is Adrienne Harding. Adrienne can be contacted at 01 885 1015 or at
