ITB student shortlisted for 2017 DatSci Awards

Congratulations to ITB student Herve Donald Teguim Kamdjou on being shortlisted in the Best Use of Data to Achieve Social Impact category at the 2017 DatSci Awards. DatSci Awards celebrates the best of data science talent in Ireland, as well as to bring the Irish and international data science community together.



Herve's project was shortlisted to the final three along with IBM Research and Real World Analytics. Herve studied in ITB on the Erasmus exchange programme and is currently pursuing modules on our MSc in Applied Data Science and Analytics.



The first ever DatSci awards were held in 2016 with over 200 industry and community leaders in attendance and crowned the first ever DatSci award winners.
The 2017 winners will be announced at a prize giving ceremony on September 21st.



Congratulating Herve, Course Coordinator Dr. Geraldine Gray said "we are very proud of Herve's achievement, and wish him every success in the final" .
