Service Update for April - June 2017

  • Week of 24th April – Full service
  • Week of 2nd May - Limited service*
  • From Monday 8th May through Tuesday 16th May – Full service
  • From Wednesday 17th May through to 20th June - Limited service*
  • From Wednesday 21st June through until the start of Repeat Exams – No bus service

Morning : Departing Coolmine Train Station at 08.25 hrs via the Shopping Centre & National Aquatic Centre.

Evening : Departing ITB at 17.10 hrs via National Aquatic Centre and Shopping Centre to Coolmine Train Station


ITB Shuttle bus is operated by Express Bus on behalf of ITB and runs between Coolmine Train Station -  Blanchardstown Centre (Starbucks)- National Aquatic Centre - ITB campus. Shuttle Bus runs a full service during Semester with a reduced service at other times.

Shuttle Bus is FREE between the National Aquatic Centre (NAC) and the ITB campus.

ITB Shuttle Bus Stop Location at Coolmine Train station

Turn left when you come out of the train station and walk along the Carpenterstown Road towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, turn left and it’s the first bus stop. Click map below.

ITB Shuttle Bus fares  - Pay cash or use Leap Card

( Free travel for ITB students and staff for August & September 2016 )

€1 per journey ( Pay cash or use LeapCard )


€5 for a weekly ticket (Allows unlimited travel on ITB Shuttle Bus when you use Leap Card )

Leap Cards can now be topped up on our Shuttle Bus.

Shuttle Bus FAQ's :

  • Weekly tickets allows unlimited travel on the ITB Shuttle Bus.
  • Holders of a valid Disability Bus Pass can use the ITB shuttle bus for free once they produce the pass to the driver.
  • Shuttle Bus is FREE between the National Aquatic Centre (NAC) & ITB
  • Dublin Bus, Bus Eireann and a number of private operator’s (such as Express Bus service 801) operate in the area. Please contact the operator directly.
